Affordable Mini Gift Bags Details
Two sheets of 6″ x 6″ designer paper easily create this adorable gift bag. And be sure to save the two corners you’ll be cutting off the bottom (template below) so you can use them to make the matching card!
I used the Night Before Christmas designer paper which boasts a huge array of patterns and designs. Isn’t this pine tree/skyline pattern beautiful? The opposite side of this double-sided paper provides a simple pattern that can be used all year long. It’s a great way to expound on your holiday designer paper purchase!

Cutting Dimensions
- Night Before Christmas Designer Paper – uaw 2 pieces of 6″ x 6″
- Score each piece of designer paper at 1 1/2″ on three sides (watch the video for tips about pattern paper with a direction)
- Score the last side of designer paper at 3/4″
- Cardstock to reinforce the bottom – cut 1 3/8″ x 2 3/4″
- I used 9″ – 11″ of ribbon for the handles depending on the ribbon width
- Cardstock for the matching card is cut 3″ x 6″, score at 3″
- Save the two bottom squares (designated by an “X” in pattern A) for the matching card
