Quickest Birthday Cards Details
At first glance you might think the See a Silhouette Designer Paper might be too busy. I’m hoping today’s cards will change your mind. These color-washed silhouettes have the look of pigment sprinkles for a perfect artistic background on simple cards.
I didn’t want to take away from the multi-colored background so I opted to add a simple punched greeting. While the white cardstock worked fine, I chose to add a subtle background of text to play uup the main greeting. I provide numerous tips on this greeting/background technique in today’s video.
Birthday Card Idea #2
This pattern would be perfect for masculine cards. With a Night of Navy background, these Mossy Meadow leaves stand out perfectly with the thick while outline around them.
Birthday Card Idea #3
For a more feminine look, play up this bold designer paper with a few rhinestones. The Holiday Rhinestones are one of my all time favorites because of their size and five different year-round colors. Don’t miss them in the Holiday Catalog on page 58.
Birthday Card Idea #4
This geometric pattern would be great for a teenager or even as a masculine card. I used two separate greetings from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in two different color inks to create an interesting focal point. Stampin’ Up!’s color coordination makes creating easy!
