DIY Valentine’s Gifts Details
While they look small, these heart foil tins have high-dome lids allowing you to fill them to the brim! Whether you choose to fill them with hand baked treats, candy or any of the other items I have on today’s free download, I know they’ll be enjoyed.
The small heart shape card is easy to create using the Heart Punch Pack. This pack includes both the scallop and the full shape heart. Best of all, some of the images can be punched out using the From My Heart Specialty Designer Paper. Decorating is quick and easy with this suite coordination! Today’s video has all the details on making the top of these tins look just as good as the inside!
Cutting Dimensions
- Whisper White cardstock for the heart shape card is cut 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, score at 2 1/8″ then follow the video directions
- I used 12″ of Real Red 3/8″ Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon
Gift Idea #2
Individually wrapped chocolates are a great idea for Valentine’s Day to savor them in the days ahead.
I used the Peaceful Moments stamp set and Silver Metallic Thread to add the perfect shimmery touch. That little bit of silver coordinates so well with the silver lining to these tins!
Gift Idea #3
This tin includes a gift; a small glass votive candle holder and a votive candle (think Dollar Store!). Once the lid has been opened, the candle and holder can be removed and enjoyed over and over again.
The Hand-Lettered Prose Dies are the perfect size to fit on the top of my tag with fun colors in the From My Heart Specialty Designer Paper. Speaking of tag – the holes and corner rounding were all done using the Detailed Trio Punch. I don’t know about you, but I love a product that does more than one thing!
