The Pressed Petals Journal is pretty all by itself. The debossed cover provides texture but not too much, which allows you to cover it if you’d like. Which is exactly what I did. This 24 page, spiral-bound design includes pages you can remove and use on card fronts, too.

The entire Pressed Petals Suite of products (annual catalog pages 72-74) include an array of designer papers, stamps, dies, ribbon, embellishments and the most amazing Washi Tape ever! The Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape includes two rolls, one of which includes petals to make flowers! I share lots of tips about creating it in today’s video.

Stampin’ Up!’s color coordination is second to none so why not add accessories?! I added two different scalloped ribbons to the spiral binding along with a trinket. These embellishments slide on the binding allowing the book to open flat or to use inverted.

The Peaceful Moments stamp set has been used a lot in my studio lately – and for good reason. The varied greetings are suitable for both the inside and outside of cards – or journals! I chose “always remember” because in a busy world, we often overlook the power of a handmade card, especially on someone’s birthday.

My free printable/download fits the Circle Tab Punch perfectly and will create a tab for each month of the year. With 24 pages, you’re able to create enough space for days 1-15 on one page and 16-30/31 on the second page, giving you lots of room to include names.

The Stampin’ Up! Journaling Pens are perfect for numbering the lines. This often overlooked product is my favorite “marker” because it writes so smoothly. The two pack includes two different widths; .01 and .05.

  • Pressed Petals Designer Paper for the cover is cut 4 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and torn along the right side. Watch the video for great tips on tearing!
  • Pressed Petals Designer Paper strip is cut 1″ x 5 1/2″
  • Merry Merlot cardstock strip is cut 1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
