Fun Fold Card Idea #2
Thank you cards can be any pattern or theme and among the easiest, design-wise, to create. I’ve used the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set, Lily Pad Dies and the Lily Impressions Designer Paper. All these products are free selections during Stampin’ Up!’s largest sale of the year called “Sale-A-Bration” From now through March 31 you can redeem products in the sale brochure, with a minimum $50 product purchase. Get all the details HERE. My free ordering rewards also apply. Read about my generous rewards program HERE.
Amazing color coordination between Stampin’ Up!’s designer papers, cardstock and ink make creating professional looking cards a breeze! I used Blackberry Bliss, Pretty Peacock and Garden Green ink pads for the images and greeting on this card.
And don’t forget the bling! A few small rhinestones add a touch of shimmer without overpowering this impressionistic designer paper.

Terrific card! Always looking for a new fold or design. Thanks for sharing.
So happy to read you like the card, Margaret! Fun folds are unique and creative, aren’t they?
I have enjoyed your video and have subscribed to see more just useing my phone .took me sometime to find the dimensions. Going to try this with the Nature’s Beauty and maybe Lovely as a Tree as some of the background. Wish you could print out the directions to make it easy to follow
Hi Jaunita! I’m so glad you were able to enjoy the video. Since the video provides step by step instructions I don’t include a tutorial however you can do a “screen capture” of the cutting dimensions from your phone and save them to your photos so you can refer to them while watching the video. I also have a large PDF tutorial library that you might be interested in. Those tutorials can be found here: https://lisasstampstudio.com/pdf-tutorials

Hi Lisa,
Having no idea how to comment on a video I have found my way over to your blog to tell you how much I have enjoyed your videos and think your teaching method is one of the best out in IT land. I have been paper crafting for longer than I care to remember and taught card making for many years. Have not posted anything on my blog for nearly 12 months but hope to get back to it soon. Life gets in the way sometimes.
So from way down under…… Tasmania, Australia’s best kept secret, keep up the good work. EM

Wow! I saw your video through our Facebook group. This is one of the best fun folds ever! It made me find your blog and subscribe. You’re a8!
Hi Bobbi! Aww, thank you for the sweet words. I appreciate them. So glad you’ve enjoyed this fun fold card.
I love your videos…they are so informative and you present with such confidence like they have been well rehearsed (not a lot of stammering). I am a hobby demonstrator, I just cannot get myself out there. My upline Roberta Ganley has a sister that lives by you…She say’s she has met you and also likes your videos. I needed to make a masculine card for a guy in St Pete…this is perfect. I make 5×7 cards and this was easy to adapt to.
Hi Kathy! I’m so glad to read that you enjoy what and how I share. I love what I do and I’m glad that’s evident. Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Lisa!
Beautiful cards! Wow! This style looks amazing! I also like how you used the tropical theme for a masculine card. (I know I need more help with ideas for the men in my life! I seem to only do floral and trecards tool.
I think it would also look great if I used designer paper on all of the pieces, but one. I would put the color coordinated solid color paper there, with a whisper white piece on it. Then I could stamp another image from the set or another similar themed image, color it since I love coloring, and add even a bit more pizzazz to the card!
I am so glad I found you! You give such nice, clear instructions while guiding us through the project. I love what I’ve seen already!
His,
Traci Starkweather
Thrilled you’ve found me, Traci!
Thanks for the card idea, Lisa. My son starts to drive to Sacramento tomorrow to take a job with the state of CA, in their emergency management department. He chose that area because he loves tropical foliage, and they have palm trees there. His birthday is at the end of next month, I think he’ll love the papers. Anne from Hanover, PA
Oh how wonderful! Thank you for sharing that, I am so glad you enjoyed the demonstration Anne. Thanks for watching!!
