It’s pure joy when a new life is comes into the world and what better way to welcome baby then with a handmade baby cards?! Today’s card has a fun angle on the designer paper that can be adapted into any of your DIY cards.

Simple Baby Cards Details
The background to this card is just as easy! I used a solid heart image from another stamp set and Versamark ink. Versamark is a watermark ink pad that leaves subtle tone-on-tone color.
The stamp set, Witty-Cisms, is quickly become one of my favorites to create quick cards for any occasion. The abundant set includes simple images and greetings all-in-one. The Stitched So Sweetly Dies provide the perfect scallop edge to accentuate the buggy.
Don’t forget the embellishments! It’s the little things that make a card. These clear Heart Epoxy Droplets can also be colored using your alcohol-based Stampin’ Blends markers!
The angle on the designer paper provides great emphasis to this card. Watch the video for an easy, quick tip for creating this angle. No measuring required!
Cutting Dimensions
- Flirty Flamingo cardstock (base): 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″
- Whisper White cardstock (layer): 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
- Thick Whisper White cardstock was used for the image – the perfect cardstock for alcohol-based markers!
- Real Red cardstock: 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″
- I used 4″ & 9″ of red ribbon – watch the video for a great tip to save ribbon and time!
