Card Making Designs: Sunburst Details

The Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Paper has gorgeous gold and copper tones. It pairs beautifully with the new Brush Metallic Cardstock to create this sunburst card. The greeting is from the Best Year stamp set – it’s one of my favorites!

Card Making Designs Sunburst – Idea #2

The greetings in the Christmas Means More stamp set include 4 witty greetings and 2 simple images. Paired here with the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Paper it creates a simple and traditional color Christmas card.

Card Making Designs Sunburst – Idea #3

The Magic in the Night Designer Paper has elegant watercolor designs that include florals. Some of the images can be die cut using the Magic Dies (Mini Catalog, page 53). Don’t overlook this versatile designer paper, even if you don’t have a need for Halloween patterns.

Cutting Dimensions

• Cardstock (base): 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
• Cardstock layer (sunburst): 2 3/4″ x 5″, mark at 21/2″
• Cardstock layer (greeting): 3 3/4″ x 5″
• Cardstock layer (color): 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Designer Paper (sunburst panels): cut 2 @ 1 1/2″ x 4″, cut on diagonal. Then cut another 2 @ 1 1/2″ x 4″, cut on diagonal in opposite direction for first set. Watch the video for a great time-saving time!
