Tag Punch Greeting Card – Idea #1

You can almost smell pumpkin spice lattes when you look at this card! The amazing Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Paper includes copper and gold foil on some of the designs. Some of the images can be cut out using the coordinating Autumn Punch Pack (page 46 of the Mini Catalog).

I used two ink pads; Versamark for the heat embossed greeting and Cajun Craze for the images. Did you know that one ink pad can produce several shades of color? Watch the video for tips!

The Autumn Punch Pack includes a trio of small image punches. Choose the maple leaf, oak leaf or the acorn punch and create a multitude of fall images in record time.

Isn’t that gold shimmer ribbon amazing?! It’s perfect for cards that need a little extra pizzazz. You won’t find this ribbon in the catalog. It’s been carried over from the Christmastime is Here Suite. Check out all the supplies in the images below.

Tag Punch Greeting Card – Idea #2

Halloween is going to look different this year due to COVID-19.  I have three great nephews who are disappointed that their annual costume party and trick or treating route has been halted. Instead, a virtual Halloween will take its place. We plan to wear costumes and play virtual games. While this year presents lots of challenges, don’t let that deter you from creating fun cards and treats for those in your family or neighborhood.

A full size Hershey bar fits perfectly inside the cover of this fun fold card. I’ll be mailing one to each of the boys in a padded envelope (a little extra postage required) but I know they’ll love them. What’s Halloween without candy?!

The Banner Year stamp set, I think, is a “sleeper” in the Mini Catalog (page 65). Included you’ll find images and greetings perfect for Halloween through Valentine’s Day. This 29-piece photopolymer stamp set is a deal at only $17. I mixed and matched the Halloween stamp images to create the look of designer for the front of this card. The Hershey bar is wrapped in designer paper and makes the perfect coordinating presentation!

Tag Punch Greeting Card – Idea #3

How can you resist a skating polar bear?! The adorable Warm & Toasty Mini Catalog stamp set (page 42) includes 5 of the cutest images and 5 coordinating greetings. I added a little color using the Stampin’ Blends Markers, Clear Wink of Stella for shimmer and fussy cut this image.

Stampin’ Blends Markers provide the perfect emphasis to the inside greeting. it’s just another way to use these fabulous alcohol-based markers!

And don’t overlook the amazing Snowflake Splendor Ribbon. The iridescent shimmer screams winter wonderland!

Cutting Dimensions

• Cardstock base: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 3 1/2″
• Mark at 1″ on the lower left of the 5 1/2″ side. Flip the cardstock over and repeat for the other side. Punch per video instructions.
• Whisper White cardstock (inside): 3 7/8″ x 5 1/4″
• Designer Paper/Cardstock (first panel layer): 2 3/8″ x 5 1/4″ *
  • If you choose to layer cut the second panel layer: 2 1/4″ x 5 1/8″
• Ribbon/Twine: 12″
