Today’s card making video will teach how to make an arrow flap greeting card. Fun fold cards provide lots of interest and the receiver has both a fun and interactive card.

This adorable reindeer card uses the Warm & Toasty Stampin’ Up! stamp set (Mini Catalog page 42). Take simple card making to another level by adding a fun arrow flap. I’ll teach you step-by-step so it’s easy for you to recreate. And remember, this fun fold is perfect for any card type of card, all year round!

Arrow Flap Greeting Card Details

Who knew a simple piece of designer paper could spruce up a gate fold like this?  Whether creating Christmas cards for friends and family, looking for an invitation layout or a fun fold for any occasion, this arrow flap greeting card is easy and impressive.

Isn’t this reindeer image adorable? I used Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers to color it and added a few dots on his back using the White Chalk Marker. Not only does this marker add perfect details, it’s great for fixing stamping mistakes. If you missed my video about this chalk marker, CLICK HERE.

Use small images in a stamp set to produce simple and quick backgrounds. This retro inspired snowflake is perfect for a tone-on-tone background. And don’t forget the glitter gems!

The arrow fold lifts up and the gate folds open to the side revealing the perfect area for your to stamp your sentiment and write a message. I included additional snowflake images on the inside layer and flaps.

• Soft Suede (gate fold): 4″ x 10 1/2″, score at 2 5/8″ & 7 7/8″

• Thick Whisper White: scrap for image
• Designer Paper: 6″ x 6″, cut on the diagonal, score at 1/2″ on longest side
