There are two additional die sets in the annual catalog I’ve included with my floating gate fold cards. The Friendly Silhouettes dies feature several landscape images, perfect for scrapbooking and cardmaking. I used the cattails landscape die, cut the tips off and created a grassy background for these cards.

The Happy Dies has a cloud formation die to bring your project to life! I used the die with vellum cardstock to make a stencil. The Blending Brush allowed me to add subtle color for the perfect summer sky!

Card Base

• Basic White (base): 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 2 1/8″ and fold. Fold opposite side to the center to meet the other panel.
• Pear Pizzazz: 3″ x 4 1/4″

Hinges

• Basic White: cut 2 @ 1″ x 5 1/4″, score at 1″, 2″ and 4 1/4″

Inside

• Basic White: cut 2 @ 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
• Pear Pizzazz: cut 2 @ 2 1/8″ x 2 1/8″
• Basic White (layer): 2″ x 2″

Floating Gate Fold Card – Idea #2
