Spanner Panel Card – Hand-Penned
If you love florals then don’t miss the new Hand-Penned Bundle (stamp set + coordinating dies). To make it even easier, the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper makes coordination a breeze!
An interesting feature of this card is how the front panel opens. I created a “bridge” using a piece of Window Sheet (acetate) that allows you to view the greeting from the front of the card.
Lift the center panel and the inside of the card is revealed. This hidden layer is perfect for additional stamped messages or a handwritten note.
Spanner Panel Card – Sailing Home
The Sailing Home stamp set and coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies has been a beloved combination for several years. These products were carried over from previous catalogs and while they are no longer sold as a Bundle they are worthy of their independent purchases. Nautical or masculine cards are easily created with this combination of products.
I used a very simple color palette for this card which can easily be adapted to birthdays, sympathy and get well cards. The new Beauty of the Earth Designer Papers have the perfect sky/water pattern and are versatile enough for any outdoorsy theme.
The Smooth Sailing Dies include additional pieces not featured in the stamp set. Choose the ship’s wheel, rope, compass dials, labels or even the seaweed dies to create a large array of scenes.

beautiful cards! I made this card with the ornate garden dsp, and the person who I saw make it, and I can’t remember who, put the window sheet on top of the 2 (1 1/4) strips and then covered it with the dsp, so you have nothing showing up on the back of the strips
Sherry thrilled you like these cards!! I have seen this card made as you described. Thank you for watching!!

I wasn’t able to watch your Spanner YouTube video until this afternoon and I love this card. Thank you for the Project Sheet. It is so great to not have to write down measurements while watching a video. I also discovered your Craft Room Favorites. I recall seeing you use this tape but couldn’t locate it to purchase until today when you mention going to your “Shop” section which led me to your favorites and a quick and easy way to purchase this tape! Not only did I find the tape but I also found the 12×12 storage files I’ve been looking for! Thank you Lisa. I appreciate your willingness to share your tips and ideas with us!
Sharon so happy to have you stop by to watch!! Thrilled you found my Craft Room Favorites and it was helpful!! Thanks so much for your kind words!!
Thanks for the great card idea Lisa. I haven’t made this for a long time. Guess I’ll have to get busy with it again. I have the post it tape but in a wider roll. I haven’t used it for my dies, what a great suggestion. I mainly use it for masking.
Have a great weekend.
Barb thrilled you like this Spanner Panel card!! Thanks so much for visiting!! That Post It tape is awesome!!!
