Circle Dies | Tunnel Card
Mountain Air is one of those stamp sets that’s easily overlooked in the annual catalog. Majestic images for mountains and outdoor scenes can be easily created with this artistic stamp set.
I used the coordinating Majestic Mountain Dies and layered the stamped and die cut images on Basic White cardstock. There are several layers here so be sure to pass the image through the die cutting machine several times to be sure all the layers are die cut. TIP: Secure the circle dies to the image with my Craft Room Favorite Post-it-Note Masking Tape. This stuff is a game changer when working with your dies for alignment. CLICK HERE to view this tape.
This single image from All of Us is the perfect size for this tunnel card. I love to color using the Stampin’ Blends markers as they provide flawless coverage. Die cut your circles then layer them for the tunnel effect. This circle technique is perfect for any sizable image.
Enjoy coloring but need some tips? I’ve got an entire playlist with ways to use the Stampin’ Blends markers on my YouTube channel. CLICK HERE to view videos for beginners through advanced blending techniques.
Circle Dies | Circle Card
Whether creating a gift basket, wrapped gift or gift bag, this circle card is quick and easy! And you’re only limited to the largest circle die you own so experiment with sizes. The video provides tips on securing the perfect seam on the card.
The inside is the perfect place to write your “to/from”, stamp a simple greeting or to leave a handwritten message. These cards are so quick and easy to create you’ll be making one after another!
Circle Dies | Peekaboo Card & Circle Frame
The Peaceful Cabin Bundle (stamp set + coordinating dies) have been incredibly popular in the Mini Catalog. The gorgeous Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Paper creates the perfect backdrop for this rustic cabin scene! I die cut a circle opening on the front of the card for a peekaboo window.
But I didn’t stop there. I used two layered circle sizes and nestled them, once again, using my Post-it-Note Masking Tape to the perfect circle frame for the opening. It’s another great use for your circle dies and provides the perfect “finish” to your cards.
The Peaceful Cabin Bundle is ideal for Christmas, winter or for your favorite outdoorsmen. This Distinktive style stamp looks more like a photograph than a stamped image thanks to Stampin’ Up!’s patent pending design.
Telescope Snowman
If you love fun fold cards or cards that move, you’re going to love this telescope card! Layer up circles, pierce and add brads to create the perfect swivel display! This telescope card is perfect for:
- Add to a card base with a greeting. The interactive feature will keep the recipient busy for hours!
- Add a piece of twine to the backside for a quick Christmas tree ornament.
- Adhere it to a gift package or bag as an interactive gift tag.
- Teach the snowman swivel to school-age kids for a winter classroom project.
Punch art has long been a favored pastime of paper crafters since you can use your dies and punches in unique ways to create characters. Here I’ve paired the cirlce dies with the Label Me Lovely Punch (hat) with the Banners Pick a Punch (scarf strands).
I’d love to challenge you to look at your dies in a fresh way. Check their shape and see what else they can create! I think you’ll be amazed at the things you can come up!
