Pop Out Swing Card | Christmas Cards

My Christmas card features the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle (stamp set + coordinating dies). The designer paper for this suite makes creating so easy! You’re going to love being able to stamp images or select images from the designer paper when die cutting. Talk about a holiday time saver! 

Create an opening on the front of your card using any shape or size die. This open area will allow the pop out to float through the front of the card base.

The added detail of the scallop “ring” for the opening is a great tip when using your Layering Circles Dies. The video walks you through how easy it is to create and assemble. Don’t miss my favorite Multipurpose Liquid Glue holder HERE. These little areas are a breeze to add glue with this precision tip bottle!

Gina’s Christmas card features the Be Jolly stamp set. She loves whimsical images and she loves to color! She chose to coordinate the images on this card with the popular Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper. Christmas cards don’t have to be red and green if you’d like something different this year. 

Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers are perfect for coloring since they provide flawless coverage. You can learn all the in’s and out’s of using them on my YouTube channel HERE. 

Unlike my Christmas card, Gina chose a smaller scalloped opening to feature her greeting vs. an image. This is a great way to showcase fun and whimsical sentiments and still add a few images to the lower portion of the card.  Be sure to die cut the opening at least 1″ from the top to allocate for the bridges that will be placed on the backside.

Pop Out Swing Card | Fall Cards

If you love designer paper you’re going to enjoy the Cute Halloween 6″x6″ Designer Paper! These cute images can be cut out and used on cards and packaging. One of my favorite set of dies is the Scalloped Contours. Graduated sizes means you’ll have a size suitable for any card plus perfect layers. Not to mention, it makes the perfect opening for this fun fold.

Caramel apples are a nostalgic fall treat! The Sweet Treats stamp set includes this image and several others to create fall, Christmas and birthday cards. I coupled it with the coordinating Cloche Dies for the dome to create an interesting opening for this card.
