Window Cards | Cactus Cuties
Details
Succulents are everywhere these days. You’ll find these easy-to-care for plants not only in homes decor but they adorn everything from clothing to bedding! Plant frenzy took off during the pandemic when people were spending more time indoors when people were looking for new hobbies. Plant enthusiasts shared their passion over social media and that excitement took off! And these low maintenance plants have had a huge impact in paper crafting as well.
Introducing the new Cactus Cuties Bundle! This adorable – and easy to use – photopolymer stamp set also has a coordinating punch to complete the Bundle. Found on page 66 of the Mini Catalog that debuts tomorrow, this 14-piece stamp set include trendy font for cards you can use all year long. It’s a terrific stamp set for masculine cards and kids alike. Add a piece of acetate between two cardstock panels and you’ll have an easy window card in minutes!
Window Cards | Awesome Otters
Along with the new Mini Catalog debuting tomorrow, Stampin’ Up!’s semi-annual Sale-A-Bration sale begins. For every $50 in product that you spend you’ll choose a free, exclusive Sale-A-Bration product! The Awesome Otters stamp set is one of those free selections and I think it’s going to be a huge favorite!
I embossed the acetate (Stampin’ Up! calls them Window Sheets) using the new Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders. This 2-pack of embossing folders provides both designs which makes this purchase super flexible for your crafting needs.
The panels on the front, inside and back of this card provide for images, sentiments and a finishing touch to the backside. Be sure to watch today’s video for several tips!
Window Cards | Hello Ladybug
Shaker cards allow for loose pieces to move between the cardstock base and an acetate window. This card, which I learned from UK’s Natasha Foote, has a shaker panel. While the pieces don’t move like a shaker card would, it provide an interesting 3D viewing pane for its contents. This is one card you need to make to truly appreciate. Even seasoned of card makers will be in awe of how this card is constructed.
The Hello Ladybug Bundle includes a 15-piece photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Ladybug Builder Punch (page 20 of the new Mini Catalog). Photopolymer allows for easy alignment of the wing’s dots and construction using the punch can be created in seconds!
The secret to this fun fold window panel card is the construction. The frame allows the area between the two cardstock panels (much like the Cactus Cuties card) to ‘connect’ and create the window pocket for the contents. Whether viewing from the outside or the inside, this card is a real show stopper!
