Years ago I created this box for stamping retreat. I forgot all about it until I ran across an old file and decided to reinvent the idea. Don’t let this gorgeous box fool you. It’s easy to make!
The top and bottom are comprised of two separate pieces, each with simple score lines. I’ve included a template in today’s project sheet which contains all the cutting dimensions.

The Abstract Beauty Designer Paper is on the Last Chance Products list and only available while supplies last through May 2. The designs include artsy swooshes, splotches, brushstrokes, and patterns for incredibly unique paper crafting projects. The paper includes a mix of small and large sized patterns so you can mix and match for different looks and combinations and it’s perfectly sized for card fronts or cut into shapes and strips for card elements.
Another favorite is the Tasteful Labels Dies. This 10-piece die set includes a variety of shapes and sizes that are perfect for both greetings and images. It’s also on the Last Chance Products list and on sale through May 2 while supplies last.
The Gold foil accents in the Abstract Beauty Designer Paper provides the perfect opportunity to play up the shine! I used the Gold Foil Sheets to die cut the leaves and a few of my flower centers. It’s the perfect added pizzazz without competing with these abstract designer papers.
When creating your gift, consider keeping all the cards the same layout as I’ve done here. This not only makes it easier to create a uniform appearance and direct to the cards you’ll include but cuts down on design time. Change up the designer paper patterns and greetings to provide an array of cards the receiver can use throughout the year.
