I’m sharing several fall card making ideas plus a Christmas card idea all with a creative twisted easel card design. This rotating card has a unique pivot to reveal the inside of the card, while still enjoying the card front.

Twisted Easel Card | Jingle, Jingle, Jingle
I’ve paired two fun Christmas stamp sets; Jingle, Jingle, Jingle and Penguin Place for this fun fold card idea.
Stumped on what to use on the front? Use the greetings to create a custom background that looks like designer paper! mix and match the verbiage in two colors for an even larger impact.
The penguin makes the perfect ‘stopper’ for this easel card but it also provides the perfect focal point when this card is on display. The Penguin Builder Punch coordinates with this stamp set and eliminates the fussy cutting.
The punch includes 3 images to allow you the option when creating. Punch the pieces to make a cardstock penguin or punch out th stamped images. I added the bell from the Jingle, Jingle, Jingle stamp set and accented it with a small silver trim bow.
Don’t let the angles on this card deter from an additional sentiment or a place to write a private message. Add a panel to the backside with ease. All the tips are in today’s video.
Twisted Easel Card | Soft Seedlings
The Soft Seedlings stamp set is featured in the Mini Catalog on page 53. This 6-piece cling stamp set includes simply fall imagery and several greetings for quick cards, scrapbook pages and fall party favors.
I added the two-tone effect to the leaf using Sponge Daubers. The colors play up the designer paper beautifully allowing the gold accents to brighten up the card front.
Circle dies provide the perfect location for a greeting or small image for this ‘stopper’. Larger embellishments like buttons can also be used.
Looking for even more writing space? I added double panels to the backside.
Twisted Easel Card | Apple Harvest

Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers provide flawless coverage and shading. I used the die cuts then separated the pieces to fill my basket.

Take a simple, whimsical image and mix it with metallic sparkle and you’ll have this adorable yeti Christmas card. Gina combined the fabulous Snowflake Vellum with the new Pearlized Enamel Effects.

Our best tip when using the new Pearlized Enamel Effects is to allow 20-30 minutes of drying time. Add this accent after your card is assembled and watch the shimmer and texture appear as it dries.
