Creative Card | Sweetest Christmas
Designer papers can do all the ‘heavy’ lifting on a fun fold card. With amazing patterns on Stampin’ Up!’s double-sided papers you’ll have options to various sections of one card or to carry you through may alternate ideas.
The Sweetest Christmas Designer Paper has the feeling of peppermint and traditional holiday colors of red and green making this paper perfect for holiday cards for this year and years to come.
But if amazing designer paper wasn’t enough, what if I told you that some of the images in this designer paper fit a coordinating set of dies. The Candy Cane Dies can be found on page 78 of the Mini Catalog and coordinate with the Sweet Candy Cane stamp set. I’d suggest purchasing the stamps and the dies as a Bundle to save 10% on your purchase.
The diagonal front panel of this card opens to another section of layers. Perfect for placing party invitation details, welcoming a new baby or announcing an upcoming wedding ceremony.
The smaller door panels at the bottom provide smaller areas for dates, times and locations. This would be a one-of-a-kind holiday invitation or Christmas card they’ll display all year!
Creative Card | Kindest Gnomes
Gnomes have become quite popular the last few years. Originated from Scandinavian folklore these mythical and cheerful creatures have captured the hearts of people worldwide.
While I’ve seen everything from garden gnomes to Halloween gnomes, the Christmas characters are among my favorites due to their Santa-style look. Additionally, this look (shown below) was even easier to create using the Storybook Gnomes designer paper. These printed images are part of the designer paper allowing the coordinating dies to make nearly instant creations.
Break out the Jingle, Jingle, Jingle – stamp set! Available on page 26 of the Mini Catalog, I think this stamp set hasn’t gotten the air-time it deserves. There are three sets of large greetings that can play “double duty”. Stamp the outline image on designer paper or color it in to coordinate with your project or use the coordinating textured stamp greeting to fill it.
This 18-piece photopolymer stamp set is easy to align and includes several smaller greetings and adorable accessories like a Santa hat, a string of lights, a candy cane and a bell. Definitely a stamp set that won’t grow old over the years!
Creative Card | Splendid Thoughts for Wedding
Elegant is the first word that comes to mind when I saw the Splendid Day Specialty Designer Papers. This double-sided package of 12 sheets includes beautiful foil accents on one side that will take your breath away!
The palette is both subtle and striking and coordinates with the Splendid Day Bundle (stamp set + coordinating dies) on page 65 of the Mini Catalog.
The greetings will cover cards ranging from thinking of you, encouragement, birthday, wedding, anniversary and much more. The mixed fonts paired with abstract greenery work stunningly well with its coordinating designer papers!
If you’re new to stamping, you’re going to love the “no match” feature this stamp set has to offer. The outline images can be colored or you can use the coordinating ‘fill’ image to create offset color. It’s a stamp image that doubles with 3D impact!
