Vertical Panel Card | Hope & Peace
A beautiful piece of designer paper can change not only the appearance of the card, but the way it “feels”.
A piece of vellum cardstock was added to the front layer of this card to soft the appearance but allow the colors to show through. Heat embossing is a great way to add texture and an elegant finish to any card.
A few strategic folds and this card expands into several panels which are perfect for designer paper strips!
Those gorgeous poinsettias were fussy cut from the Boughs of Holly Designer Paper package. Simple to cut around and match the coordinating patterns of paper perfectly!
Don’t forget the gems! They show up beautifully on vellum. Red rhinestones are one of my favorites since their size and color work all year long.
Vertical Panel Card | Celebrate Sunflowers
Sunflowers remind me of vibrant summer days and cool fall evenings. This makes the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and coordinating Sunflower Dies perfect for year-round cardmaking.
I used Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers to color the images. New to the Stampin’ Blends Markers? Click HERE to view my YouTube playlist on how to use them in a variety of ways.
If your looking through your papers and don’t find the perfect patterns, consider the assorted packages of designer papers from Stampin’ Up! Available in color family collections you’ll have a sizable stack of patterns and colors to create cards throughout the year.
Vertical Panel Card | Best Butterflies
Cheerful colors and vibrant patterns, the Butterfly Kisses designer papers can bring a smile to anyone! Best of all, these double-sided papers can be mixed and matched with other stamp set to create birthday and get well cards!
Build your own butterfly in any fashion using the Best Butterflies Bundle (stamp set + coordinating dies). Whether you like the larger wings at the bottom or the upper portion of your butterfly is entirely up to you, but don’t forget the embellishments!
If you look at the dies carefully you’ll see that there’s a row of what appears to be butterfly wings. I rearranged their purpose for this card and turned them into small flower blooms.

Beautiful Card…….the Rhinestones really set it off!
I don’t think these measurements are correct. The top card does not meet up in the middle after scoring.
