Hinge Card | Christmas Season
Check out the greeting on this card front! It comes from the limited edition “Framed & Festive” stamp set. Only available while supplies last through January 4, 2023, this stamp set has coordinating designer papers which are also a limited edition. You won’t want to miss getting your hands on them!
These beautiful green tones are perfectly accented with a beautiful gold heat embossed greeting. The ovals are part of the Framed Florets Dies and provide coordination to the Framed & Festive stamp set.
Christmas Season stamp set and Seasonal Label Dies have been a favorite of mine for a few years due to their timeless images. The holly and berries are easily created with a two-step stamping process.
Be sure to watch the video for tips on strategically placing the brad and how to create a “bumper for the top flap. This will prevent the top portion from ‘sinking’ when it’s closed.
I saw that blank space behind the front greeting and instantly thought it could be put to good use. I added an insert to this card which can be removed to display a sentiment, family photo or even used to hold details for a holiday party, shower or wedding invitation.
Hinge Card | Framed & Festive
There’s no better greeting than this one for this adorable gnome! Once again I’ve used the Framed & Festive stamp greetings!
I “grounded” the greeting and gnome using a rectangle die and slipped a Wonderful Snowflake behind it to coordinate with the Storybook Gnomes Designer Paper.
Unlike the first card, I chose to stamp the inside sentiment right on the inside base of the card. Another great option for this fun fold design.
The Gnome Dies are so easy to use since the image pieces have embossed areas indicating where the layers fit together! It’s nearly impossible to catch sparkle on camera but the textured beards includes a beautiful coat of Wink of Stella for holiday shimmer.
Hinge Card | Joyful Flurry
The shimmer on this card is over-the-top and includes a fun technique using rubbing alcohol and Wink of Stella to create a shimmer mist.
Glimmer paper provides instant sparkle but I wanted to utilize that same feel on the lower portion of this card. I mixed a few drops of Wink of Stella inside with rubbing alcohol into a Stampin’ Spritzer, shook it up, protected my work surface (trust me, you need this step!) and spritzed away! Be sure to watch the video to see the stunning sparkle!
The Frosted Flurry Dies coordinates with the Joyful Flurry stamp set and includes several unique die features to create ‘negative’ imagery. Use a contrasting background so the small die cut areas can be lifted to expose this unique 3D look.
