Card Backgrounds Using Vellum | Playing in the Rain

Card Backgrounds Using Vellum | Dainty Delight

Printed vellum has a tone-on-tone finish that can be colored to enhance any card. It’s a quick and easy way to use the Vellum Basics Paper to customize your cards.
Statement backgrounds call for a sparkle! I added Brushed Gold Foil greenery and the Brushed Brass Butterflies to coordinate. It’s often the little things that take a card from simple to stunning.

Break out those stencils because you’re going to love using them on vellum! These stencils are from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks pack. The beauty of their design is that two stencils can be layered, one on top of the other, for terrific two-toned looks.
Since vellum is translucent, the colors appear different from when they were applied. Without the perfect match in my ribbon artillery, I used the Whisper White Seam Binding and the Light Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker to create this custom color combination.
Cut away the edge of the Rose Gold & White Striped Ribbon and pull out the metallic pieces to use on your cards. These small fibers are the perfect, delicate accessory!
