Let’s take an angled card and use die cuts to create a slide card. Break out that die cutting machine! This slide & lock card is a fantastic twist on a fun fold card idea.

I’m sharing several cardmaking ideas, several will make great masculine card themes. Don’t miss the free project sheet download below. Slide Card | Hey Chuck
Stampin’ Up! designer papers are incredibly versatile due to the double-sided patterns. Here I’ve used the Fresh as a Daisy papers. The sketched background of greens and blues works so well for this rooster card.
Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers are perfect for blending an array of colors. Check out the project sheet for a complete list of the colors I used. If you’re new to alcohol-based Stampin’ Blends Markers, click HERE to view my YouTube playlist that includes lots of tips and tricks.
When I first made this card I was concerned the slide mechanism wouldn’t latch due to the fence, but it works perfectly! Be sure to watch the video for tips and tricks to elevating pieces on the front of this fun fold card.
This stamp set is so much fun! The extra images work perfectly for inside this card.
Slide Card | Waves of Inspiration
If you love the beach, waves or if you’ looking for a great masculine stamp set, the Waves of Inspiration is just for you!
The detail of this wave is included in the stamp image. Just ink and stamp! There are also coordinating Wave dies (sold separately) that work wonderfully with this stamp set.
Unlike my Hey Chuck card, this one uses Watercolor Pencils for the pelican and pilon. I found the pencils created a softer, more realistic look on this sketched image. If you haven’t tried these pencils yet, I highly recommend them. CLICK HERE to learn various ways to use them.
Sympathy Card
The Lasting Joy stamp set floral images coordinate with the Countryside Inn designer paper perfectly! I’ve paired this simple flower image with the greeting from Kindest Expressions.
I used a Night of Navy circle layer for the greeting and heat embossed it using it white embossing powder. It’s a simple way to add color to dark cardstock in seconds.
Use up those scraps of designer paper by adding a small strip to the inside of your cards. Not only does this eliminate waste, it adds coordination from the front of your card.
