I didn’t have the perfect designer paper for the design I had in mind so I created my own. I used the ‘sparkle’ image in the stamp set with various colors to create a random background. It’s a simple and great tip when creating your handmade cards.

Side Fold & Tuck Card | Sympathy
Sympathy cards are one we never want to make but one of the most important to the receiver. I mixed the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set with the Stippled Roses Dies for this card.
If you’re looking for something a bit more masculine, change the colors and eliminate the flowers. Greenery work great for masculine cards. And with an array of designer paper colors you can utilize the leave patterns on this designer paper with your choice of colors.
Brushed Brass Butterflies add the perfect touch to this sympathy card. These embellishments are nearly flat allowing you to mail the card with no additional postage.
The inside of this card is different than the first. Adjust the inside dimensions to allocate more room for writing and signing. Today’s project sheet includes all the cutting and scoring dimensions for you.
Bright Skies
Cheer them up with a brightly colored get well card! The Bright Skies stamp set and dies, paired with the bold Full of Life designer series paper created this cheerful card.
The Bright Skies stamps and dies are the perfect addition to your stamping stash because these clouds work well with a variety of stamp sets. The dies even include abstract scallop borders to create larger clouds or creative edges.
If you struggle getting a good solid image on bold images, background stamps or even bold text greetings, get the Misti stamp positioning tool. Due to my arthritic hands, this tool has been a lifesaver allowing me to restamp the image more than one to fix those ‘missed’ spots. It’s also saved me tons of wasted paper.
I used the smaller images from the stamp set and dies to create a simple embellishment for the inside of this card. It just adds that little extra “happy”!
