Fun Fold Slider Card | Sophisticated Sled
The Sophisticated Sled Bundle (stamps + dies) is my favorite new Online Exclusive product. The ability to stamp and die cut your images or create a sled using the dies makes this Stampin’ Up! combination a winner when creating your winter cards.
Christmas DIY card ideas are more special when they include a moving part. The tag on this card is pulled to reveal a secret message or additional images.
Christmas DIY Card
This handcrafted Christmas card includes has a rustic and nostalgic feeling. I embossed the card base using the Snowflakes Sky 3D Embossing Folder for added texture.
This beautiful sled is adorned with the Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive Backed Berries.
Placement of your sliding image is important so be sure to watch today’s video for tips and tricks.
The back of this slider card provides ample space for a greeting, personal message or holiday family photo.
Fun Fold Slider Card | Simply Sparkling
I don’t know about you, but I always need birthday card ideas. This snazzy card idea is one that’s sure to get some attention. Change the colors to suit the receiver and you’ll have a one-of-a-kind card!
I used a combination of foil and glimmer paper to add some pizzazz to this otherwise simple color palette.
One of my favorite products is Versamark ink. This watermark ink pad allows you to stamp directly on colored cardstock to achieve tone-on-tone designs.
Die cut any shape you’d like or add a white layer to the back of your card to add your greeting and signature.
Grandparents’ Day Card | Playing in the Rain
Grandparents’ Day is coming up on September 8 and I’ve had numerous requests for card ideas for this occasion. The Playing in the Rain stamp set is perfect for the kids to color.
The coordinating Playing in the Rain Dies made creating the scene quick and easy. My images were colored using Stampin’ Blends alcohol based markers.
The top area of this slider card provides the perfect spot for coordinating images or a greeting. Here I’ve used the Softly Said greeting stamped in the same Boho Blue as the cardstock. It provides a more vibrant color versus the the Versamark ink used for the daisies.
Instead of threading the ribbon for the pull out tag, I opted to use a few Glue Dots to attach the ribbon then stapled it in place using this mini stapler HERE.
