Accordion Fun Fold Card | Reindeer Fun
If nostalgic reindeers and coordinating dies aren’t enough let’s add coordinated Reindeer Days DSP! Die cut the images from the designer paper or stamp and color them yourself.
Stampin’ Up!’s color coordination allows you to mix and match designer series papers to not only maximize your purchases but simplify the design process. I’ve used the Iconic Celebration and the Reindeer Days papers for this card.
This accordion card is so easy to make, it’s almost like cheating! Just line the sections with your favorite patterned paper, add a greeting, and a simple focal point, and you’re done!
Decorative Trees
Finally, if you’re looking for a more ‘stepped up’ version of this same fun fold then you’ll love the added features of gold foil and detailed dies.
I created my own background for the image using the greeting from this stamp set. Simply ink, stamp off one layer of ink to reduce the color, then stamp on your cardstock. A repeated pattern provides the most stunning faux designer look!
Mix and match the Sentimental Christmas designer series paper on the panels of this card in rich tones of Pretty Peacock and Old Olive.
I used a Blending Brush to add subtle tones of Old Olive ink to the white cardstock behind the detailed trees, the greeting and the sentiment section. I think you’d agree, a little color, and some pretty embellishments, can go a long way!
