The Sentimental Christmas designer paper was used for this card and it was too pretty to cover.
I opted not to add additional images to the accordion fold and let this paper be the focus of the inside of this card. Those pleats pop up beautifully all by themselves!
More Than Autumn Cocoa Card
I love chocolate, hot, cold, melted…it doesn’t matter. But Bob the Builder and I have been on a ‘no added sugar’ ban since June. I thought that meant that my annual tradition of hot cocoa evenings would have to go but I’ve recently found out about Nestle’s sugar free cocoa mix and it’s saved my holiday spirit! To celebrate I had to make this card!
Imagine a hot cocoa with sprinkles of peppermints on top. It’s the perfect mix of crunchy and smooth with a pop of refreshing flavor. YUM!
I used Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the cup and gingerbread man and used paper piecing for the cup band. Paper piecing allows you to stamp an image on designer paper and cut it out to perfectly match the original stamped image. It provides the color and pattern quickly and easily.
I chose Basic White for the inside layer of this card which allowed for me to carry the peppermint theme into the pleats using the Take a Bow designer paper. This is a great project for those scraps!
