Fun Fold Hinge Card | Umbrella Days

The Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is probably my favorite recently released packages! The varied prints and colors make it versatile to use for any occasion regardless of gender.

The Umbrella Days Bundle (stamps + coordinating dies) are fun and easy to use and perfect for thank you cards, get well, thinking of you and missing you card themes.

I used Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers to color the images. If you’re new to these markers be sure to check out my YouTube playlist HERE for tips, tricks and techniques. These markers will change the way you color!

The Inside Details

One the hinge has been lifted, you’ll have a unique place to include another panel, if you desire. This hidden area is both an added space for images or sentiments and definitely a surprise.

Isn’t that dog adorable? The coordinating jacket was die cut from designer paper!

Fun Fold Hinge Card | Storybook Garden

The biggest advantage to this fun fold is the ability to place your hinge wherever you’d like. Unlike the first card, the hinge has been moved to the right side.

Gardening is one of my favorite past times so this Bundle spoke to my heart. With a variety of garden tools, vegetables and fruits, it pairs beautifully with the Storybook Moments designer paper AND the To Market designer papers.

I looked at the cake layers and thought they’d make the perfect gift box. With a little imagination I used the frosting layers as the ribbon and turned the flower images to represent imperfect bows.

I used the Friends of the Ocean designer paper for the bright and cheerful patterns. Stampin’ Up!’s double-sided designer series papers make it easy to color coordinate and gives you lots of options for patterns.
