This explosion card includes a fun pop up feature when opened which allows for ample room for a sentiment and signature. Origami Explosion Card | Cheers & Sips

This gorgeous designer paper is called Celebratory Sips and it coordinates with the Cheers & Sips Bundle. With patterns that work well for cocktails – and non-cocktails – you’ll love the vibrant colors and patterns.
I chose to make a belly band for each of my explosion cards so they’d fit securely in an A2 envelope. The belly band is the perfect spot to house a focal point for this fancy fold card.
But look closely and you’ll see that I used a flat toothpick for my cocktail umbrella! I teach you how during today’s video.
Cheers & Sips: Option 2
This card sample showcases the reverse side of the first card showing off those striking lines. Double sided designer series paper provides lots of options.
The explosion of this fun card provides the perfect spot for a piece of white cardstock to hold your sentiment, a personal message and signature.
Origami Explosion Card | Impression Abloom
If floral patterns get your attention, you’re going to love the new Impressions Abloom Bundle and coordinating Floral Impressions designer series paper!
Unlike the first card, this fold is slightly different on the front panels. Only two corners were turned which allows for the double sided pattern to show. Today’s video walks you through this option.
Instead of black ink I opted for Early Espresso ink and cardstock for this card to emphasize the center of these beautiful daisies. Let your designer paper dictate the colors and you’ll be assured of perfect coordination!
Turtle-y Awesome
The new Turtle-y Awesome Bundle is paired here with the new Turtle-y Cute designer series paper. And if that’s not enough, don’t miss the incredible coordinating embossing folder and gems!
Look closely to the waves behind the turtle. While they may be a bit tricky to see in the photo, the inside of this card provides more detail. Instead of using a die cut image, I used a die from the Meant to Bee Dies (used for the hexagon shape) as a stencil. It’s another great way to utilize your dies. And I show you how in the video!
