There’s ample room on the back of this card for writing and signing. If you’re looking for added space, consider adding additional panels to the backside. This area is also perfect to hold a holiday photo for your Christmas cards.

Pop Up Block Card | Spooky Halloween

My two-year old grandson, Palmer, will be the recipient of this adorable card featuring the Spooky Halloween Bundle and coordinating Spooky Sweet DSP.

The designer paper does all the ‘heavy lifting’ on this card! The block images are comprised of designer paper and laser cut pieces. The only stamping are the bats and the sentiment. Even the front of this card is all DSP making this card quick and easy to create.

Use a Glue Dot to attach a gift card to your little one’s favorite eatery (McDonalds, Chick-fil-a, etc.). In Palmer’s case I’ll be attaching a Dunkin Donuts gift card. I’ve never met a little boy that loves donuts as much as Palmer! This is a card that can include both a treat and fun ‘trick’!

Christmas Greenery

I make hundreds of Christmas cards each year, both for family and friends but for my YouTube channel. Many of you tell me they are your favorite – and most created – cards you make all year. With that in mind, I splurged on lots (and I mean LOTS) of new Stampin’ Up! products for the season.

DIY Christmas Card

The Christmas Greenery Bundle includes beautiful artwork that can be ‘two stepped’ meaning there are solid images included in the stamp set that fill the outline images. The best part of a two step stamp is that you have the ability to color the images yourself or make a quick card using the two step stamps.

I used Real Red ink for the poinsettias but thought the card could use a little density so I inked the remaining two step floral images in Real Red but stamped off two times to reduce the color before filling the outline image. The best part about ink is that one color will typically provide 2-3 (or more!) shades of color. It’s a great cost-saving tip and one that will help when coordinating Stampin’ Up!’s designer series papers.

Save those scraps of DSP! They are perfect for adorning the areas you’ll write and sign.
