Dutch Door | More Than Autumn

Even if you don’t like pumpkin you have to admit that seeing them gives you the cozy feeling of fall. I reached for the More Than Autumn Bundle (stamps + dies) to create this fun fold card.

Dutch Door Card

The Timeless Plaid DSP is undeniably one of my favorites for so many reasons. This abundant 6″ x 6″ package of double-sided patterns include an array of colors that easily mix and match. And it’s perfect for masculine cards too.

Autumn Card

I used the Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the image and included tips in today’s video on how to create subtle shading with color.

Gate Fold Card

The lower gate fold of this card is an ideal place to use up those designer paper scraps. I’ve added layers to both the exterior and interior pieces. The Timeless Plaid pattern paper offers a wide array of coordinated options.

Dutch Door | Jar of Joy

While red and green are typical Christmas colors don’t overlook pastels and metallics. This simple color palette of Pool Party and Early Espresso shows off the rich gingerbread image and cool tones of winter.

The coordinating Sweet Jar Builder Punch makes creating this 3D jar quick and easy. There’s no coloring here. The two-step stamp images do all the shading.

Pattern Paper

I chose the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder to add a little texture to the circle layer for the front of this card. I love how the de-embossed side shows through to the inside for a little extra pizzazz.

Don’t miss the Traditional Sparkling Sequins. They are the perfect blend of sparkle without the added fuss of faceted edges and added postage!

Christmas Greenery

This is my “not so” Christmas Greenery card. I wanted to share how versatile this bouquet image is in this Bundle. I’ve used it with all different colors of designer series paper and themes and it works perfectly. Pair it with your favorite greeting and you’ll have a quick and pretty card.

Pattern Paper

This stamp set provides two options. The outline image can be colored in using your favorite medium or you can stamp the solid coordinating image in the ink of your choice, which is what I did on this card. The image took under 2 minutes to fill and the results are perfect when coordinating your favorite Stampin’ Up! designer papers.

Rubber Stamping

Unlike the other two cards I opted to use the front layer diagonally. It provides a lot of visual interest for the image plus the opening. Consider any shape to house your image/greeting.

I always choose my designer paper first, before choosing my stamps and dies. With Stampin’ Up!’s amazing color coordinating the papers set the tone for the rest of the card. There’s no guesswork. Which designer papers will you use to make your lower gate fold dutch door card? Leave me a comment. 👇🏻 I read every single one!
