Valentine’s Day is just a few weeks away and that means card makers are busy creating for those they love. Whether your handmade card will be for a spouse, significant other or family member, you’re going to enjoy this angled card design.
There are literally hundreds of different fun fold card ideas to try but this one has my heart for numerous reasons. It’s unique expanding card feature uses angles to create interesting panels to adorn with your favorite designer paper/pattern papers. Best of all, it’s perfect to use all throughout the year. Fun Fold Valentine’s Day Card | Valentine Kisses
It’s no secret that I love designer paper, better known as pattern paper to some. Gorgeous pre-printed designs take simple cardstock to another level.

The Made with Love designer paper is a 12″ x 12″ package of double-sided paper that includes both heartfelt patterns, stripes and more. It’s a designer paper I’ve found to use more than just for Valentine’s Day!

I’ve chosen to pair this paper with my favorite “heart”-y stamp and die set (Bundle) called Valentine Kisses. The adorable bear images include fantastic accessory dies to make kissing booths, get well cards, thinking of you and other occasions.

What’s on the Inside
Showcasing your favorite pattern papers is what this fun fold card is all about. Mix and matching the patterns is easy with Stampin’ Up!’s color coordination. There’s no worry of colors not matching perfectly!

The bear images are easy to color. Choose one color or come up with your creative combinations. I’ve created an adorable panda bear HERE but also consider Paddington Bear for baby and children cards, black bears, etc. You’re only limited to your imagination.

Fun Fold Valentine’s Day Card | Easter Basket
Easter is April 5 and that means there’s another holiday quickly approaching. The new Easter Basket Bundle (stamps and coordinating dies) is another addition to my Stamp Studio that I couldn’t pass up.

Like the Valentine Kisses Bundle, this Bundle also includes accessories to the stamp set that expound on the possibilities. This Easter basket is just one of those accessory options.

One of the reasons I’ve enjoyed this fancy fold card design is because of the ability to alter the inside angle.

Inside Angles
The Easter Jooy 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper package, again, includes double-sided patterns. And once again, because of Stampin’ Up!’s color coordination I incorporated another paper that matches perfectly! I added the new Mixed Patterns DSP to this card as well. And you’d never know they weren’t all in the same pacakge!

Unlike my first card, this one only uses liquid glue on the straight sides of my angle which left the slant open to create a pocket. I used the Textured Notes Dies to create a tag, threaded with the amazing, new Balmy Blue Gingham Ribbon.

Lovely Arrangements
If you can’t get enough florals than the new Lovely Arrangements Bundle is just for you!

The stamp set and coordinating dies, offered as a convenient bundle, are designed to work in harmony with the Lovely Blossom designer paper, which was created with this very pairing in mind.

Let the patterned papers you choose dictate the colors of your cardstock and images and you’ll have well planned cards in minutes!

Gift Card Holder
The pocket serves another purpose on this card. I used it to hold a gift card. It’s perfect for a birthday card but also great for weddings and showers.

This card utilizes additional images for the inside pattern paper angles. If your papers are simpler, this is a great way to spruce them up!

Regardless of whether you decide to make a pocket or choose to leave it attached, this innovative fun fold design proves to be both useful and serves as an excellent way for displaying your designer papers in a truly stunning way.
