Fun Fold Expanding Panel Step Card | Framed Violets
July 1 will include a release of new Online Exclusive products you won’t want to miss. Among them is the new Framed Violets Bundle (stamps + coordinating dies), gorgeous Violet Dreams 12″ x 12″ coordinating designer paper, matching ribbon and Adhesive Backed Blooms embellishments.
Purple is an immense card maker’s favorite color based on Stampin’ Up! statistics and these new pattern papers include hues of Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia.
Double-sided papers mean you have lots of options. Choose the themed side to coordinate with this suite of products or reverse it to use all year long for a variety of occasions.
I used Stampin’ Blends alcohol based markers to color the front flower and die cut a flower and leaf using the coordinating die. The blooms embellishments work seamlessly with these products.
Fun Fold Expanding Panel Step Card | Lovely Arrangements
While Lovely Arrangements isn’t a new product, I opted for this paper to add in the July 1 release of Gilded Wings Accents. This 12″ x 12″ sheet of laser cut butterflies has a variety of sizes and shapes to quickly adorn any card or scrapbook layout.
I also added the new Shimmering Stripes 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. Mixing metallics has always been popular. Gold and silver tones can bring simple, subtle cardstock colors to life! The new Shimmering Stripes DSP will be one of your favorite specialty papers. And no, it doesn’t flake off and make a mess. Win-win!
I heat embossed the flower using gold embossing powder and used Stampin’ Blends markers to add color. If you’re new to these alcohol-based markers, I’ve got an entire playlist on my YouTube channel HERE to teach you many ways to enjoy them.
Don’t overlook the impact a small embellishment can make. A simple rhinestone to the center of the gold butterflies provides the perfect continuity from the silver stripes specialty papers. Fun for Fall
Living in Florida doesn’t provide a wide range of seasons, Fall will always be my favorite season. the Fun for Fall Bundle is releasing on July 1 and it immediately caught my eye with its whimsical images.
Once again, alcohol based Stampin’ Blends markers were used to provide the color to these images. I’ve included all the colors in the project sheet so you can copy (or tweak) it.
Stampin’ Up!’s color coordination is second to none. The ability to mix and match pattern papers from one pack to another is the perfect way to stretch your supplies and coordinate cohesive cards. The front panel DSP is from Silly Old Bear and the back panel is from the 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery designer papers which release on July 1. Gingham patterns are great for year-round use and terrific for masculine cards as well.
I used the white gel pen for the dots in the center of my sunflowers (new product from a few months ago!) and Natural Matte Dots for a simple addition to the gingham paper.
