I’m a huge fan of punches and this card is the perfect reason why. I punched numerous balloons from Whisper White cardstock using the Balloon Bouquet Punch. I chose to make the balloons the same color as my card base for a simple and clean background.

I used Sponge Daubers to add ink to the greeting which I die cut using the Happy Birthday Thinlit. I adhered it directly over the balloons using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a sponge and then added a combination of enamel shapes for added texture.

A few months ago I created a card using a similar layout. You can see that card HERE.

Ordering for September’s Studio Stamps in the Mail (SSITM) is underway. This month I’m including the Painted Harvest stamp set and coordinating Leaf Punch. You will receive free pre-cut supplies to make 8 cards, envelopes, accessories plus a video and PDF tutorial making it easy for you to stamp along with me from home. All my SSITM customers also receive Live with Lisa as an added bonus. Ordering for this month’s SSITM ends on September 17th. Get all the details HERE.
Mark your calendar for this Thursday, September 14th, 8PM EST – 5PM PST – 6PM MST – 7PM CST. I’ll be LIVE on my Facebook page HERE with a live demonstration and interactive fun. This is a FREE event so plan to join me!

Lisa, I love this technique of layering the design behind the sentiment in the same color. This card and the one you did previously are awesome and would certainly make anyone’s birthday special. I hope you and your family were safe and had little, if any, property damage. Enjoy your day!
Hi HJ! We are doing very well. Thank you! I just finished tomorrow’s blog post with an update. Thank you, too, for the kind words about this card. It was so much fun to make.
Such a great card!!
Thank you so much, Stephanie!
