The most difficult cards to create are those that will fall into the hands – and the heart – of those grieving. We want our card to provide peace and hope but also -provide encouragement. Finding the right words to say are always a challenge. Thank goodness for stamped greetings! I created this card using the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set. The surrounding flowers are from the Tranquil Tulips (a host exclusive) stamp set.

Simple and elegant is this sympathy card with a beautiful script greeting surrounded by delicate flowers. Tranquil Tulips and Heartfelt Sympathy from Stampin' Up!

The greetings in the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set contain beautiful script text. There are also coordinated sentiments for the inside of the cards with small touches of the same artwork. Take a peek by click on the image for this stamp set in the supply list below.

I corner rounded the two bottom corners of the white cardstock layer using the Envelope Punch Board.

The Tranquil Tulips stamp set includes small two-step floral images which I used here. I added small pearls to the center of each of the flowers and a few additional that I scattered around the card.  Pearls are the perfect accent for a simplistic, heartfelt greeting.

The Powder Pink 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon has the most luxurious feel to it. It’s easy to tie and comes in a 10 yard spool.

I certainly don’t like “having to” create sympathy cards but I’m ready when the need arrises with this beautiful Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set.
