I’m continuing my series on Brusho crystals. These intriguing crystals are activated when they come into contact with water creating a burst of color. Today’s quick tip video will teach you how to color using Brusho, both as a washed background and to color in images using a heat embossed resist technique. It may sound “fancy” but it’s simple. I’ll provide lots of tips along the way so you can achieve successful results.

This card uses the Pop of Paradise stamp set. The heart has been heat embossed with white embossing powder. A wash was created using Brusho which was brushed over the top and allowed to dry.
This card uses the Lovely Friends stamp set. The large greeting was heat embossed using white embossing powder. Brusho crystals were sprinkled over the top and spritzed with water and allowed to dry. No two cards will be alike. I have provided an alternate sample below using the same colors.
This card using the Falling Flowers stamp set and the coordinating May Flowers Framelits. The flower and leaf were heat embossed using white embossing powder then colored in using a mixture of Brusho crystals to create a custom color.
