Coordinating dies, designer paper, trim and trinkets will bring your pet-loving cards to life! Not to mention, they make adorable birthday cards!

Quarter Fold Card – Dog Card
Whether you’re a dog or cat lover, this new suite of products will have you saying “awwwww”. The patterned paper includes images for various breeds, paw prints, stripes (perfect for all kinds of cards!), black and white printed text – just to name a few. Check out the fun patterns on page 149.
This quarter fold card is super easy to create because it mimics the closing of a box. I opted to use the same color cardstock for each of the card base panels that connect, but consider mixing and matching. Adding designer paper to the exposed panels provides another fun way to dress up your card.
The box-like opening reveals the adorable insert. Plus, this fold is perfect for adding a gift card inside. The box-like fold insures it won’t fall out and provides a unique presentation of your gift.
The coordinating trinkets can be tied to the trim, used to make earrings, bracelets or even added to a stamped image, like I’ve done here. Watch the video for tips on hiding the trinket opening. All you’ll need is a hobby knife and a Glue Dot!
Quarter Fold Card – Cat Card
Are you a cat lover? This same Suite of products provides equal love for those of you who prefer felines! Playful and cuddly images are hard to resist, especially when colored with the alcohol-based Stampin’ Blends Markers.
The trinkets are perfectly sized to add to the stamped or designer paper images. Here I’ve used the coordinating trim, separated the black strand from white and created a bow.
Some of the images in the designer paper can be cut out using the coordinating Pets Dies (page 177) to create your adorable furry friends cards even faster!

Lisa,
Great video tonight. Love this idea for a gift card.
Paula
Thank you so much, Paula!
This was such a fun tutorial and now I have a card idea when I want to enclose a gift card too! Thank you so much Lisa!
Thrilled you enjoyed this idea, Jennifer!
Enjoyed tonite’s tutorial .. and the boo-boos just made it real!
Oh, I make lots of mistakes, JoyLynn! Thanks for the grace!
Lisa, I love these cute cards. I have used this quarter fold for graduation cards with the year numbers on two outside flaps, but I love your idea of using it for other occasions. I think it is fun for the recipient with or without a gift card. Thanks for a new way of looking at this design. Enjoy y our day!
Hi Hilda! So nice to see you here again. Thanks for the kind words. I hope you’ll give this fun fold a try soon.
Congratulations on the new home! Are you down-sizing?? I know a lot of people this year who seem to be doing just that. Looking forward to seeing your new craft room. I loved the card idea & the “boo-boos” were good to see. It just goes to show that you are “human” just like the rest of us & stuff happens!! I enjoy the videos.
Hi Karen! Moving closer to family and the home is about the same size. Thanks for your grace on the error!
This is a great variation of the A2.
Thanks, Colleen!
Lisa, your folds and tutorials are outstanding.
You’re so sweet, Linda! Thank you for the kind words.
An adorable card and great directions! Never worry about any mistakes—we are all human and it makes me laugh to see that these glitches happen to all of us. I really empathi8 with your moving situation. We have also purchased a new house (downsizing), but unlike you, we are just getting ready to list ours and won’t ful.y move until this one sells. Six weeks ago, I had a terrible fall and broke my shoulder . Timing was terrible, pain has been terrible, and this past week, my housekeeper simply quit without any notice. The photographer comes day after tomorrow to take pictures for the marketing, so life is hectic!!! Good luck to you.
Hi Beth! Sorry to see you hurt your shoulder, take care! Happy you like this fun card!! We stampers all have our moments!
Hi Lisa. You said you had given the wrong measurements at the beginning of the Youtube, but when I came here, the measurements are the same. Did you go back and change them? A bit confused here. Thanks again – loved this one!
Bev so happy to have you stop by!! I did correct the measurements under the description!
