Do you love flowers? Then don’t overlook the Prized Peony Bundle (stamp set + coordinating dies) on page 84 of the catalog. Turn back one page to pages 82-83 and see an overview of the entire Peony Garden Suite of products!

The typical double gate fold card is created using a piece of 5 1/2″ x 12″ designer paper. I thought it was a bit flimsy without a cardstock layer so I tweaked the dimensions to add a piece of cardstock for stability.
PLEASE NOTE: The card pictured here was trimmed AFTER I had that epiphany. You’ll notice the card created in today’s video has a more pronounced diamond opening. Read about the two options in the cutting dimensions below.
Cutting Dimensions
- Thick Whisper White cardstock (base): 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Thick Whisper White cardstock (insert): 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Designer Paper:
- OPTION 1: 5 1/4″ x 12″ (as represented in today’s video), score at 2″, 4″, 8″ and 10″. Measure down 2 1/2″ on both sides (see template).
- OPTION 2: 5 1/2″ x 12″, (as pictured here). Score the same as option 1. Measure down 2 1/2″ on both sides, as noted in option 1. Then trim to 5 1/4″ x 12″ for a slightly different diamond opening.

Gorgeous
Thank you, Joy!
Lisa Curcio, I tried ordering the Neutral Blend markers #154886, #154904, #154890, #154891. I used the online catalog and I could not find them, but I found them on catalog you sent. Are they not available any more or out of stock online? I love your online youtube classes.
Hi Ana! There are numerous Neutral category products. If you can provide me with more details on whether you’re referring to Stampin’ Write Markers or the Stampin’ Blends, that would be helpful so I can direct you. It’s best to email me at lisa@lisasstampstudio.com with product questions like this so I can provide a direct link to the items you’re looking for. I look forward to hearing from you!
Your video says cut dsp 11 x 5.25. This is incorrect and I just ruined a beautiful piece of dsp!
Hi Lorraine! I apologize for the written error on the template. I corrected the graphic on this blog post to show the correct dimensions.
Oh, it’s not ruined. You can always use the DSP for other projects. I’ve done same thing as you done. So .i learned to use the paper on other cards.
It is ruined, I just did the same thing ?
I did the same thing. I am making a graduation card. Bought a special card stock for graduation and only bought one sheet. Guess that is my error. Don’t rely on correct dimensions from the demonstrator. I have other graduation card stock, but it’s not double sided. Now what? I am so disappointed!
Susan thank you for stopping by to view this video!! I do apologize for my mistake while filming this video. I do say to see measurements in the link below which did have the correct measurements along with the template. Here is that link:
**To order supplies, get supply list, or to get measurements visit** https://wp.me/p94Qnb-9OT
Again, It was a mistake while filming and I do apologize.
Love all your videos. You make them easy to follow. You always brighten my day!
Alice your kind words made me smile!! Thank you so much for stopping by to visit!!

Your YouTube video shows a white template for 5 1/4 x 11 inch DSP. Naturally, that didn’t work. I cut my DSP based on that and RUINED 7 pieces of the beautiful DSP. I looked at your blog later and saw where you said 5 1/4 x 12 inch DSP. I am seriously unhappy with you and will not be subscribing to your channel.
Kathleen thank you so much for watching! I want to apologize for my mistake while filming I grabbed the wrong template. It was my bad and I am sorry. Under all my video’s are the measurements and templates. Again, I understand your frustration but it was an honest mistake on my part.
So correct the video. I just lost TWO pieces of card stock for a project!
Kim I am sorry for my error on the video but I do say to go to my website for the template and measurements. Here is a link: https://lisasstampstudio.com/2020/06/the-best-gate-fold-card-idea.html
I hope this helps and again I am sorry, I am human and do make mistakes. I do thank you for watching!!
So sad you would leave her so easily. She made one mistake out of hundreds of measurements she posts. Lisa is so easy to follow with a project compared to others. I always make a sample first as I make mistakes too.
Janice thank you so much for your kindness and for stopping by to watch!!
You’re so right, Janice. What a couple of Wendy Whiners, you’d think they paid for the tutorial here.
Lisa is the best with her video tutorials.
Lydia thank you so much for watching and for your kind words!! Glad the project sheets are helpful!!
Here is a thought to all you ladies who ruined their DSP while trying to follow a video, try doing what I do,
I try it on paper first so I can check the fold is right and how it all goes together, because the people who share their video’s with us can sometimes make mistakes, and that way you wont ruin your DSP and will not be disappointed
I enjoy your video’s Lisa thank you for sharing
Jude thank you so much for watching and for the great tip!! Happy you enjoy the video’s!!
Hi, Lisa,
I am looking at your two options for this beautiful peony garden card and have a couple of questions.
Option 1 is the one in the video, right? And option 2 makes a different diamond shape? Does Option 2 make the diamond shape more square to match the square label on the front? Also, when you say in option 2 to trim 1/4”, where would I trim it? At the top edge or the bottom edge to make it work best?
Thank you for your videos!
Judy thank you for visiting this video I made last June. I would trim the 1/4 inch from the bottom. It will make it more square. Re-watch the video and stop with each step and follow the pictures and template at the bottom of the video. Hope this helps!!
