I’ve got a DIY tooth fairy idea that will make you grin! What a fun way to make the tooth fairy special and this tin crafts project can easily be adapted for other celebrations too!

When I used to sell at craft fairs, these tooth fairy tins were always one of my best craft fair items. “Back in the day” we used to have to work to cover altoid tin projects but not anymore! The Flight of Fancy stamp set (Mini Catalog, page 59) includes three fairy images; Christmas, Halloween and Valentine’s Day. When I took a closer look at the “Valentine’s” fairy I saw endless possibilities!

I strategically covered the hearts using a tooth image which I created on my computer. I’ve got a free download for the tooth below. Be sure to scroll down.

The Rectangle Tins can be found on page 55 of the Mini Catalog and include four (4) 2 3/4″ x 4″ x 1″ food safe tins. Use these tins to hold gift cards, small snacks and gifts. Regardless how you use them these will make a great addition to your crafting inventory!

I didn’t have a cloud stencil so I created my own using the Layering Circles Dies. I die cut varying sizes and adhered them together. Today’s video will walk you through how to make your own and provide great tips for a perfectly sponged cloud background. Save that homemade stencil! You can use it over and over again!
