Fun fold card ideas are abundant but this one is quick and easy to put together. The best part of this design – you can alter the squares in the center of the W fold to hold any image or greeting you’d like. The possibilities are endless!

W Fold Card – Idea #1

The Christmas Gleaming Bundle (mini catalog page 19) includes ornament images that fit perfectly into the coordinating Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack. The greetings feel nostalgic while having a fun flair of mixed fonts.

If you love sparkle and shine you’re going to love the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper. This festive paper includes one side of seasonal images and another of year-round patterns that boast copper foil accents. ((squeal)). Pair this paper with the beautiful copper trim and accessories to compliment your cards. And doesn’t the copper foil look elegant with this designer paper?

I added a bit of color to my ornaments using the Stampin’ Blends Markers. If you’re not a fan of coloring, stamp them in colored ink.

This fun fold is called a W fold since it forms a W when placed upside down on your work surface. This full card base is bridged by a strip of cardstock scored in a few places to make the W fold insert. Best of all, it’s easy. AND you can resize the panels on the strip to accommodate the images and greetings you’d like to use.

The rich tone of Night of Navy ink provides perfect continuity between the designer paper and the images and greetings.

W Fold Card – Idea #2

Since the W fold is the wow for this card, don’t miss adding a little pizzazz to the card front.

I kept it simple for this card and used the Winter Snow Embossing Folder, a greeting from the Snowman Season stamp set and a few of the adhesive-backed snowflakes.

The merry mice from “Warm & Toasty” are so festive! These little critters have delightful expressions and will bring a smile to both young and young-at-heart.

Truly there’s nothing better than chocolate – well, at least in my world! This stamp set has been one of my favorites for so many reasons. Whether you like to color the images or use their coordinating sold filling stamps, this set will create quick and unique cards for birthdays, friends and encouragement.
