Slimline Card Details
Definitely one of the most popular Bundles in the new Mini Catalog is the Daffodil Daydream Bundle (stamp set + coordinating dies). And for good reason! These timeless flowers create gorgeous cards for any occasion!
You’ve asked and I’ve listened! I’ve included an assembly chart for this die set which can be found in the Project Sheet below. This step-by-step chart insures you’ll adhere the proper pieces together to create perfect daffodils every time!
The Slim Sayings Bundle includes a versatile die set perfect for slimline sized cards. I used the die as a stencil by tacking it down to the cardstock and blended a rainbow shade of color. Don’t miss the video for tips on using the die for this fun technique.
Utilize the Layering Circles Dies to create balloons for this cheerful and ageless birthday card! The Chalk Marker adds the perfect touch of realism to these simple circle accents.
Do you like more sophisticated cards? If so, this one using the Honeybee Home Bundle will speak to your creative side! This simple layout is perfect for the landscape version of this card and accented with a gold embossed greeting and bumblebees.
Those small areas in the flowers are no challenge for the Stampin’ Blends Markers! These double-sided alcohol-based markers allow you to choose the appropriate tip for your project.
It’s a jungle out there and the new Garden Greenhouse Bundle can provide a tropical haven of flowers and plants. Combine the dies and stamps for unique cards for any occasion!
Whether you prefer Adhesive Sheets for detailed dies or liquid glue, you’ll love layering this greenhouse over vellum, as I’ve done here, for a great translucent appearance.
Slimline Card | Gina’s Ideas
Gina’s been stamping since she was 5 years old and her creative ability grew along with her. She loves color and whimsical images so when she created this elegant card using the Crane of Fortune Bundle I flipped! She had me at ‘gold’!
The Symbols of Fortune Designer Paper includes gold foil accents on one side which can dress up even the simplest of cards. Gina used Calypso Coral and Evening Evergreen to emphasize the elegance of this layout. Stunning, isn’t it?
Whimsical anyone? The Hello Ladybug Bundle (stamp set + punch) are so much fun to use! Perfect for any age bracket, these whimsical images can’t keep you from smiling.
The Medium Daisy Punch fits the flower image which speeds up the assembly process. But Gina didn’t own the punch so she fussy cut this flower to color coordinate with her greeting.
Stampers tell us that the most challenging cards to create are those for men. This masculine theme card is perfect for the guy or gardener in your life! The Home & Garden Bundle sold out once and was replenished. There’s lots of gardening lovers so scoop up this versatile Bundle you can use for any occasion.
This simple layout uses the greeting as the statement. Wrapped with a layer of Baker’s Twine and accented with a few Matte Black Dots this card can be created in minutes!
Bonus Idea!
Hearts are perfect for any time of the year and occasion! Gina created this bonus project as a Valentine’s Card but this could easily be changed by substituting the text behind the mini envelopes.
She used the greeting stamp in this set to create a custom designer paper appearance behind the envelopes. Change up the text and you’ll have a perfect birthday, miss you, get well or sympathy card!

Good morning! I enjoyed watching the live video. Do you know if the long border die, included in the slimline bundle, can be used to trim/shape the envelope flap of a standard envelope?
Judy thank you so much for visiting this video!! Happy you enjoyed it!! I would think if you center the die it would work. The die is approximately 7″ long if that helps!
