Seasons are about to change so today I wanted to share a Fall card with an easy background!
When I think of a fall card I think of earth tones and leaves. Today’s card is not short on either of those elements. I’ve used glossy white cardstock to create an interesting background using the Sponge Brayers. I’ve added a simple stamped overlay of leaves using the Blended Season stamp set. To add a little sparkle, I added a die cut leaf from the Stitched Seasons Framelits using the Gold Glimmer Paper. The thank you greeting is from the same stamp set which I heat embossed in gold. A little gold on this fall card provides the perfect tones for the season.
I’ve also created a 3D look to the greeting that’s easy to achieve using the Bone Folder. I’ve included lots of tips in today’s video on how to use the glossy white cardstock as well as lots of tips for using the sponge brayer and brayering in general. I’ll also teach you how to create that fun curved greeting on this fall card.
The Stitched Seasons Framelits are part of the exclusive August promotion “Color Your Season”. You can purchase the stamp set and the framelits as a Bundle and save 10%. There’s even a new 10-pack of watercolor pencils available during August that you won’t want to miss. Whether coloring in leaves for a fall card or for the various other all year round images, you won’t want to miss owning this limited edition Bundle.
I’ve included pictures of today’s card along with cutting dimensions and supplies below. And more projects are coming! Check back as I create a collection of ideas for you.

A really cool technique Lisa TFS I love what you have done with this new bundle and thank you for sharing all the other projects that were made with the same bundle as well. :O) xxx
Hi Lorraine! So glad you like what I’ve shared using the Blended Seasons Bundle. Thank you for watching!
LOVE these cards, Lisa! LIKE the brayer to get the background a lot, too! Think it would be fun to use some different fall colors for the background as well! And the “single loop bow” is TERRIFIC! The glimmer leaf embellishment is lovely and just gives the card a WOW! TFS and for the great tips along the way, too! Happy Stampin’ n’ Creatin’! :-))
Hi Judith! I’m so glad you like the card. This would be fabulous using other fall colors as well. The single loop bow is a great alternative to the standard bow and it’s not feminine making it great for masculine cards.
