With 157,000 views on my YouTube channel this fun fold card is a “fan favorite”! And for good reason. The front panels separate to reveal layers of the card base. They’re all perfectly balanced by a bridge of acetate (which Stampin’ Up! calls Window Sheets).

Birthday cards surpass any other occasion of cards created in the U.S. My family is large so that means lots of birthdays all year long. In the month of June alone we have nine birthdays! When I saw the Balloon Festoon Bundle added to the new catalog offering I knew I had to have it.

One of my favorite new designer papers is this Beautiful Ordinary 12″ x 12″ Designer Paper. I love the colors since it’s not gender specific and can be used for lots of occasions.

The balloons feature the ‘stamp off’ method to reduce the first layer of color which better matched the saturation/bleed of the papers. The added elements to the balloons use additional stamps. This is a super fast card to make which makes it ideal for making a stack in one sitting.

You can add additional DSP to the inside doors or leave plenty of room for writing and signing. This versatile fold leaves plenty of areas to be creative.

With 130,000 views on my YouTube channel, my original fun fold design called a top lift fun fold, provides a unique opening to a host of ideas.

Summertime is here and that means warm nights, fireflies and pool time. I created my faux swimming pool border and ‘water’ using Pool Party cardstock. I used a retired stitched rectangle die to make a frame border and added crinkled cardstock for wavy texture. Using a Blending Brush to add Pool Party ink to the raised areas allows the normally flat cardstock to come to life.

I’m a big fan of using vellum for this fun fold because the layer carries over to the inside, and the blended color keeps the card theme consistent.
